Lower Secondary
Empowering learners for confident, critical, and creative thinking
At Nextora Academy, our British Lower Secondary Programme (for Grades 6 to 8 / Years 7 to 9, typically ages 11 to 14) builds upon the solid foundation from the Primary stage and prepares learners for Upper Secondary and IGCSE. It is designed to help students develop independence, curiosity, and a deep sense of responsibility — qualities that prepare them for both local and international success.
Our Approach to Lower Secondary Education
A Clear Path to Progress
Learners build on prior knowledge from Primary while being introduced to more advanced concepts, preparing them effectively for Upper Secondary. The curriculum ensures smooth progression, enabling students to connect previous learning with new subjects.
Global Learners, Local Context
The British Lower Secondary framework celebrates both global thinking and local relevance. Learners explore international topics while understanding their culture, community, and environment — helping them become adaptable, open-minded global citizens.
