Languages
Languages play a vital role in shaping global citizens who can think, communicate, and connect beyond borders. At Nextora Academy, we introduce both Foreign and Regional Languages as part of our regular school program, helping learners strengthen their linguistic and cultural awareness.
English is the First Language and Medium of Instruction across all grades.
In addition, learners from Grades 1 to 8 must select one elective language — either a Foreign Language or a Regional Language — based on their interests and cultural background.

Learners who wish to explore international communication can opt for one of the following Foreign Languages:

Regional Languages
Learners who wish to strengthen their cultural roots can opt for a Nigerian Regional Language, choosing from:
- Yoruba
- Igbo
- Hausa

At Nextora Academy, we recognize that clear and confident communication is key to academic and personal success. To nurture eloquence, articulation, and confidence in speech, we’ve partnered with Reggy Penach Speech Academy, a leading institution in speech development and phonetic training for children.
Our Phonetics and Diction Programme is designed to help learners speak fluently, pronounce words correctly, and develop a polished command of English that enhances both their writing and public speaking skills.

- Focuses on sound articulation, pronunciation, word stress, and intonation patterns.

- The programme runs in batches and levels, rather than by school term.
- Learners are grouped based on age and proficiency after an initial speech assessment.

- Each batch focuses on a specific level of speech mastery before moving to the next.

Creative & Performing Arts
At Nextora Academy, we believe creativity fuels confidence and innovation. Our Creative & Performing Arts Programme provides learners with opportunities to explore visual art, music, and drama in a supportive online environment.
Through these sessions, students express themselves, build emotional intelligence, and discover their unique talents while connecting with others in joyful, interactive ways. The programme blends art, music, and performance to develop creativity, discipline, and collaboration — essential skills for 21st-century learners.
